What Does the Campsite Offer?

- Showers: none
- Field kitchen: sinks for washing dishes, worktops
- Campground Capacity: 600 people
Visitor Information
- The campground lies in the heart of a nature reserve, overlooking the city of Safed, and close to the Israel National Trail and the Israel Sea to Sea Trail.
- Generators may not be used.
- Amplifiers and speakers may not be used in the campground.
- Bonfires are allowed only in the designated areas.
- No dogs are allowed in the campground.

Summer: Sun-Thu – 08:00-17:00; Fri – 08:00-16:00
Winter: the center closes an hour earlier
Main items: snacks, cold drinks and ice cream
Equipment rental: baby carriers – ₪ 40
Amud Stream Campsite
Useful InformationEntry to campground from 15:00 to 19:00. Your tents and other equipment must be packed away and campground tents and guest units vacated by 11:00 on day of departure.
Guests must leave the campground by site closing time.

The entrance to Nahal Amud is from the Carmiel-Meron Junction road, about 1.5 km north of Moshav Kfar Shamai (Route 866 between km 40 and km 41).
Drive one km east and you’ll arrive at a parking area. From the square, walk down a trail marked in red, to the stream.
