Akhziv National Park

Crystal clear water, naturally formed lagoons, awesome beaches and even the remains of a crusader castle are just some of the many fabulous treats this gorgeous park has to offer you and your loved ones. whether you’re travelling with your spouse and seeking a stunning coastline with magical sunsets or planning a day trip with the family, this treasure of a beach is the place for you.

Located in the Western Galilee region of northern Israel (between Rosh Hanikra and the city of Nahariya), this park has a shallow lagoon for children and another deeper lagoon for adults to swim in as well as grassy picnic spots. It is also a great place to see Seagulls, sea turtles and even small Octopuses among the rocks and in the pools. As for the beach, it is a very quiet one (certainly in comparison to Tel-Aviv’s crowded beaches) and is fully Equipped with lifeguards, showers, shade covers and playgrounds for the kids to enjoy.

You can also stay in the national park campground which is open to families between Passover and Sukkot and especially during summer it is a wonderful place to spend the night while sleeping under the sky and stars.
