The Apollonia Story: An accessible tour of Apollonia National Park
We invite you to free guided tours of Apollonia on the kurkar cliff overlooking the sea north of Herzliya. Israel Nature and Parks Authority guides will take you along the cliff to the sea view and the Crusader fortress and regale you with the thrilling story of the site throughout history. The tour will be accessible for the mobility impaired and for wheelchair-users. Guides will have a special amplifier for the hearing impaired. Earphones for the hearing impaired will be available at no extra charge.

The Stalactite Cave: Tours in English for individual visitors
The reserve encompasses a large natural woodland and the biggest and most beautiful cave in Israel. Enter the depths of the earth where youโll find a wondrous world of statues carved by nature โ stalactites and stalagmites in an endless variety of forms that will spark the imagination of visitors big and small, promising a spectacular experience.
Please arrive 20 minutes before the tour.

When: All week long, at 11:00 and 15:00. Fridays: 11:00 and 14:00

Audio tour at Qumran, Herodium and Good Samaritan Museum
An audio guide that will take you on a cultural journey back in time. Bring your friends and family to the site, and using our new audio guiding system, stop at points of interest and dive into the past.

Tour and get your feet wet at Enot Tsukim
The big pool at the reserve is open! There are shady spots, picnic tables and wading pools. Take a tour of the Hidden Reserve! On the way, among the springs and the rich vegetation, youโll meet the weaver ant and the Middle Eastern jewel beetle, which live on the edge of the lowest lake in the world and are facing the challenge of its retreat.

When: Tours in English take place on Fridays and Sundays at 11:00 and 13:00, all year long except July and August.

Masada: The earphone tour
Masada, the last bastion of Jewish fighters against the Roman army, symbolizes the final days of the Judean kingdom at the end of the Second Temple period and its violent destruction. On the plateau are remains of magnificent palaces from the time of King Herod and mute evidence of the Roman siege and its bitter end. It is a mountain that became a symbol. Youโre invited to rent earphones from the cashier at a cost of NIS 20 for a personal tour in a variety of languages. The tour will lead you to the main points of interest marked in the site brochure.

Pan, Jesus and Titus meet for a conversation in English by the stream
This tour of the Banias Springs will take you back to Hellenistic times when people believed in idols and their power over the forces of nature. A walk along the swiftly flowing stream will bring you to the Roman period, to the magnificent palaces of the kings of those days, Jewish princesses and Roman emperors. The tranquil beauty of Banias has charmed visitors since the dawn of history: Jesus came here with his disciples and chose this place to grant the keys to heaven. Now itโs your turn to come to the ancient flour mills, bridges and huge trees of Banias to enjoy the quiet and the history.

The Bible Comes Alive in the Wilds of Nature at Tel Dan
On this tour youโll walk the paths of the Dan Nature Reserve, along its streams and thick vegetation to the ancient city of Dan, which is mentioned in hair-raising stories in the Bible. Youโll enter the gate from the Israelite period, walk to the large and impressive remains of the ancient altar, and see the oldest mud-brick gate of its kind in the world and the border with Lebanon. We invite you to take a tranquil walk among biblical plant life and stories and the people who made history.

Bread, Circuses and the Good Life in Ancient Caesarea
This tour features highlights of history and archaeology from Caesareaโs glory days โ from King Herod to the builders of the Crusader city. Tours will depart from the theater gate (the southern gate) and will include a visit to the magnificent theater and beautiful views of the sea, the impressive hippodrome and the harbor gate.

When: Guided tours in English will depart from the theater gate on Saturday May 18, 2019 and on Sunday May 19, 2019 at 10 AM and 1 PM.
Guided tours in Arabic will depart from the harbor gate on Saturday June 15, 2019 at 10 AM and 1 PM.
